Program Structure

Learning English can be both intimidating and challenging, especially for beginners. We are committed to bridging the educational gaps for Chinese English language learners in the United States.  The COA foundation is now offering a platform connecting motivated learners and experienced educators to teach and learn English. We welcome all levels of expertise!

Sessions

A total of twelve 60-minute session featuring lectures, group exercises, and personalized assessments

Class Size

Each class will have a range of

1-3 students (max 4) to maximize learning opportunities. 

Materials

Each registered learner will receive a free textbook to supplement learning

Learning Objectives

  • Acquire essential vocabulary that is most commonly used in everyday conversations

  • Develop their ability to understand and construct simple sentences

  • Engage in simple and prolonged conversations

  • Listen to and comprehend simple spoken language, such asinstructions, descriptions, and everyday conversations

Josia holds a Master of Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley. She brings over five years of experience in the education sector and is passionate in helping learners grow both academically and personally.
